Comments
Jeanneau Sun Shine 38 from 1991, impeccably maintained by its sole owner.
This sailboat offers a perfect combination of pleasure, habitability but also very good seaworthiness.
Vintage boat ideal for sailing lovers.
Equipped for adventure: 7/8 rig with mainsail, genoa and storm jib.
Its 2 meter keel is made of lead, ensuring stability and performance on the water.
In terms of electronics, the boat has an autopilot, VHF, windlass and eight winches, including an electric winch on the piano.
Two batteries in good condition, new toilets and recently renewed water tanks.
Performance: Under sail, the Sun Shine 38 demonstrates excellent stability. Its precise steering and hull design with the long waterline length and low-friction hull construction ensure a good sailing experience.
Quality construction: the Jeanneau shipyard in the 1990s used Aramat K: a glass/Kevlar composite laminate which offers twice the impact resistance.
In terms of weight compared to fast boats of the same length but more modern, it may compromise speed, but it is definitely a safer boat.
Results: This Sun Shine 38 has proven its excellence by winning sailing competitions, including the Catalan championship in its category.
