Owner's comments
Class 33: A High-Quality Fast Sailboat
I am proud to present my Class 33, a sailboat built in 2004 by the Class Yachts shipyard. This model was designed by naval architect Lupoli, renowned for his innovative and high-performance designs.
Technical Specifications
My Class 33 is equipped with a spade rudder, making it particularly maneuverable and easy to pilot. For optimal safety, I have installed a galvanic isolator for grounding the electrical network from the dock to the 230 V electrical line.
Equipment and Maintenance
The Bruce anchor with chain is a robust and reliable piece of equipment. The windlass was serviced in 2022, ensuring easy and safe maneuvering. To facilitate boarding from the sea, I have installed a folding stainless steel ladder.
The bronze valves, rigging, and piping were replaced in 2024, ensuring optimal durability and performance. The deck and cockpit were redone in 2022, and the teak cockpit seats were redone in 2023, offering impeccable comfort and aesthetics.
The mast with boom and spreader bars was serviced in 2022, ensuring a high-performance and safe sail. The hull is maintained annually with a dry docking, and the sacrificial anodes are replaced with each docking to ensure optimal protection against corrosion.
