My Fountaine Pajot Venezia 42 for sale
I am selling my Venezia 42 catamaran, a naval gem signed by Fountaine Pajot, a renowned shipyard founded in 1976 in Aigrefeuille, France. This iconic model, designed for beautiful cruises as well as long-distance voyaging, combines comfort, performance and robustness.
With its 42 feet, i.e. 12.60 metres in length and a beam of 6.95 metres, this catamaran offers generous space. Its 1.20 metre draft allows stable navigation in shallow water, a real asset for exploring lagoons such as those in New Caledonia. A custom version with an extended mast and high-end Harken hardware equips this boat, combining strength and elegance.
A self-sufficient and optimised catamaran for long-distance voyages
I’ll get straight to the point: this Fountaine Pajot Venezia 42 is ready to sail immediately, flying the New Caledonian flag in the Nouméa marina. With its high-performance desalinator (60 litres/hour), its 7 Optima service batteries (525 Ah) and its 2 × 880 W solar panels, I no longer have to worry about fresh water or electricity needs, even on the longest crossings. Its recently serviced generator, coupled with a Victron 1600VA charger/inverter, provides total energy autonomy.
For onboard meals, I chose a custom stainless steel galley, equipped with an Eno 4-burner gas stove + oven and a large 12V fridge-freezer. Comfort in the heads is ensured by a regularly maintained desalinator (membrane changed in 2021), Plastimo manual toilets and a pressurised hot/cold water system. For relaxation, there is a gas stainless steel Eno barbecue and a 2022 LED TV.

For propulsion, I chose reliability with two Yanmar 2×28 hp engines, completely refurbished in 2010 and showing only 1600 hours. The SD20 sail drives, replaced in 2014, guarantee optimal transmission. With 370 litres of fuel, this catamaran can cover long distances with complete peace of mind.
