Used Sun Odyssey 26 for sale
I am offering for sale my Sun Odyssey 26 from the year 2000, a robust and versatile model for sailing with complete peace of mind. This boat, with a length of 7.49 metres and a beam of 2.95 metres, has a draft of 1.20 metres, making it ideal for coastal cruising or offshore outings.
Rigorous maintenance and recent upgrades
I have taken care to keep this Sun Odyssey 26 in excellent condition. In 2025, I invested in a complete overhaul of the Yanmar 9 HP engine at a cost of 6,000 euros, ensuring reliable and efficient propulsion. Additionally, keel blasting followed by epoxy coatings was carried out in 2026 to preserve the boat’s structure. The sails have also been renewed: a mainsail and an All Purpose genoa in Flex Sport Black laminated fabric, along with a genoa sock mounted on a Flat Deck furler, for a total cost of 8,500 euros.
Modern equipment and practical features
For safe and comfortable sailing, this Sun Odyssey 26 is equipped with a Helix 7 GPS, an ST 1000 autopilot, a Lock Speedo, a ST 60 wind vane, as well as a cockpit table and Spinlock clutches. Onboard comfort is ensured by a built-in refrigerator. For shore excursions, a dinghy is available, while a retractable bowsprit facilitates manoeuvres. The Bartom rigid vang and standing and running rigging renovated in 2025 complete the technical equipment.
Safety and onboard comfort
Safety is a priority: a textile backstay and a new tackle have been installed to reinforce the structure. The batteries were replaced in 2026 for optimal autonomy. Finally, an asymmetric spinnaker with sock is available for downwind sailing, and the keel bolts were checked and replaced in 2026 for enhanced strength.
