I am offering for sale my Beneteau Swift Trawler 42, a used motorboat combining robustness and comfort for extended cruising. This model, produced by the Beneteau shipyard between 2005 and 2015, was designed for sailors seeking a high-performance trawler with versatility. Its design, by the firm Pierre Frutschi, makes it a boat valued for its stability and range.
Boat history and maintenance
This Swift Trawler 42 spent its first ten years in Northern Europe, a region known for its demanding sailing conditions. It was never exposed to ultraviolet (UV) rays, which preserved its overall condition. Each winter, it was stored in a shed, a precaution that kept its hull and equipment in perfect working order.
I have ensured its regular maintenance, with full engine and electrical system overhauls. The anodes were replaced according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, and the antifouling paint was renewed to ensure optimal hull protection.
