Description of the Sun Fast 3300
Designed by the duo Andrieu and Verdier, and built entirely with infusion, the Sun Fast 3300 benefits from exceptional strength and rigidity, with a considerably reduced weight. As a result, it offers not only excellent absolute performance, but also an advantage under the IRC handicap rules, notably thanks to its simple bulb-less keel and reasonable sail area.
Design and Performance
On this race sailboat, ergonomics are at the service of efficiency: spacious cockpit to facilitate movement, adjustment systems brought to the helm for solo crossings. 5% faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 is still as stable and balanced on technical courses. Its hull has been specially designed to increase its performance on reaching courses.
History and Palmarès
This 2020 model rated 0.30 won the UNCL 2022 Atlantic Channel championship in crew and had to withdraw from the transquadra due to health reasons of its Skipper/Owner.
