Owner's comments
His owner tells us:
Rare on the market, "ILES SOUS LE VENT" boat from the Tournier shipyard in SOUBISE (17), built in 1997, long keel and ballasted centerboard (2.20m / 1.20m), lead ballast, rigged as a schooner and fitted with 2 aft double cabins, large central saloon with a single berth on the starboard side + REFLEKS diesel stove to be serviced, and a workshop at the bow.
The seacocks, valves, and bilge pumps were replaced in 2017.
The sails are new or recent, the engine and propeller shaft were changed in 2019.
The electrical panel was entirely refurbished in 2019, and the boat is equipped with recent batteries featuring a Victron BMV 702 monitor (2 x service batteries 140 A/h 2022 + 1 engine battery 90 A/h 2023), a Mastervolt Ivo compact 12/53-3 charger with shore power inlet, and photovoltaic panels on the aft deck.
Complete electronics with a Humminbird Helix 9 chartplotter from 2018 on the chart table and in the cockpit.
Dometic 2-burner stove (2017), 300L fresh water, electric toilet 2024, holding tank, Isotemp water heater, CD player.
Offshore rigging with a BOMBARD survival raft from 2010 for 8 people (last inspection 2023), main anchor with 60 meters of chain + secondary anchor, Maxell HRC 10 electric windlass from 2018 with hand-held remote and cockpit control.
Invoices and inspection available upon request.
Last hull cleaning scheduled for May 2025.
Passion, Reliability, Performance!
The philosophy of the TOURNIER shipyard is quite simple: after a few years of experience in building monohulls (including an ULDB), we have now been building multihulls for nearly 30 years, some of which have completed three circumnavigations… totaling over 81,000 nautical miles!
