The owner tells us:
Rare on the European market, this CARIBBEAN 40 is a first-owner vessel with a very beautiful and solid hull, built by CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL MARINE PTY LTD for offshore fishing and fast cruising by one of the oldest and largest boat manufacturers in Australia.
This 2009 model is powered by two Cummins 500HP QSC diesel engines on shafts, approximately 260 hours, which according to the manufacturer provides a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 30 knots.
2000L of fuel, 650L of fresh water.
14 m (LOA), 4.30 m beam, 1.15 m draft, approximately 12 tonnes of dry weight.
GRP construction, hand-laid hull on BERTRAM mould.
Two cabins with an island bed forward, including access to the bathroom and two large bunk beds in the starboard guest cabin.
The galley includes a 4-burner electric cooktop, a convection/microwave oven, separate refrigerator and freezer.
The bathroom is spacious. It includes electric toilets and a separate shower compartment.
