The Wauquiez Centurion 47 is a model designed by Ed Dubois and built by the Wauquiez site. This sailboat is known for its performance, its robustness and its elegance. It is suitable for navigation on the high seas, especially close to.
Preparation and improvements
The sailboat underwent a complete revision and major improvements between 2019 and 2024:
Recent work: replacement of the teak bridge, change of portholes, repair of the dormant rigging, and complete revision of the engine.
Modern equipment: new Fisher Panda generator (2024) and Upgrading NKE electronics.
Interior design
The sailboat has three cabins: a rear owner cabin, a double front cabin, and a cabin for the crew. It also includes a square, an equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms.
Equipment and performance
The sailboat is equipped with a revised 60 CV Lombardini engine, a full-saving play (Grand-Loir and Genoese of 2017, Tourmentin and Spinnaker revised), and modern navigation instruments (Nke, AIS, AIS, automatic pilot).
Historical
Formerly owned by the artist Philippe Laville, this sailboat sailed from the French coast to the Lagons of New Caledonia, via New Zealand and Tahiti.
