H2>Description of the DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE
The owner tells us:
I am selling my DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE purchased in 2021, with which I sailed in the Mediterranean before preparing it for an Atlantic crossing in 2024 (Arc Antilles). Back in mainland France, it is currently stored on land and is ready to go after some minor cosmetic and electrical work (mast light cable and anchor lights).
It is a 2-cabin deep draft version with an enlarged forward cabin berth, a large shower separate from the toilet, and a WEEBASTO air heater.
Its standing rigging was changed in 2018 and its DCX sails date from 2021.
It is energy autonomous (4 x 400W solar panels with VICTRON ENERGY MPPT regulator) and equipped with 3 x 110 Ah service batteries from 2024 and a 90 Ah engine battery.
My DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE is prepared for long-distance cruising with complete onboard electronics (navigation center RAYMARINE, marinized PC with swivel-mounted display and OPEN CPN, EPIRB 2024 beacon, AIS Black Box transmitter/receiver 800S/N, FURUNO NX300 NAVTEX, TRANSOCEAN 6-person 2023 liferaft, 100m main anchor...)

History of the Dufour shipyard
The Dufour shipyard, founded in 1964 by Michel Dufour in La Rochelle, is one of the most renowned naval construction shipyards in France.
