Owner Loïc’s words:
"I bought this boat in 1988, its speed and performance won me over immediately!
The boat was built in 1978 for skipper MARSAUDON, and I had the chance to sail with him during the 'Offshore Race' in the double-handed transatlantic, Lorient - Bermuda - Lorient in 1983 aboard the trimaran Stalaven!
I bought this Jade 48 in 1988 as a bare hull and worked on it for 2 years for a complete refit, reinforcing the stringers on the bow, then I made all the wooden joinery and interior fittings.
I am passionate about regattas and offshore racing, and I have owned this superb aluminum sailboat for 36 years!
Today, it is a fast and comfortable boat.
The boat is maintained regularly: 'I am very strict about boat maintenance; it is part of safety.
It is hauled out regularly; this April 2026, we gave it a makeover for the spring: haul-out, antifouling, various checks and repairs, anodes were replaced, the hull was sandblasted, and 4 coats of zinc silicate antifouling 'Doxanode' were applied.
This is a boat ready to sail. I do everything myself on my boat, knowing that I am a former professional in shipbuilding, except for the sandblasting, which was done by a company in April 2026.
With age, I have made the difficult decision to part with it, and we are looking for its new owner.
It is a stiff boat under sail, a true upwind performer!
So, you need to be a bit athletic if you are interested in this sailboat!"

⚓ Owner’s words
"Owner since 1988, this boat immediately captivated me with its speed and performance.
Originally built for skipper Marsaudon, I had the opportunity to sail with him in offshore racing.
Bought as a bare hull, I fully fitted and reinforced it myself: reinforced bow structure, custom joinery, complete interior fittings.
After 36 years of passionate sailing, I am parting with it reluctantly.
It is a fast, seaworthy, demanding sailboat, ideal for enthusiasts of sporty sailing. Always meticulously maintained, it is now ready to set sail again."
