Oyster 435, offshore cruising ketch with central cockpit and deck salon, featuring a long keel, perfect for ocean sailing. West Epoxy System treatment applied below the waterline in the USA in 1996. Teak decks (replaced in 2000). The vessel was refurbished in Thailand in January/February 2005 - replacement of Plexiglas on opening panels, replacement of plumbing. Refurbishment of the aft heads and replacement of teak panels where opening panels had caused discoloration. Oyster yachts are considered among the best boats in the world. History: From 1984 to 1987: Turkey and the Mediterranean Sea. From 1987 to 1997: Caribbean and East Coast of the United States. From 1997 to 2000: Pacific and Australia. From 2000 to 2006: Asia and Thailand. From 2006 to 2007: Indian Ocean and South Africa. In 2010, the vessel was moved from RCYC Cape Town to Manten Marina, Vaaldam.
