Owner's comments
BASBOUSA is a 2018 model, built at the end of 2017, and has undergone well-thought-out modifications by previous owners, making it unique in its kind: a large salon opening onto the kitchen, additional furniture, the starboard hull dedicated to the owners with a very beautiful bathroom at the front with a separate WC, shower, and double sink.
Two double cabins occupy the port side, with a functional workshop/4th cabin in the central passageway, featuring a large fridge-freezer and storage, allowing for comfortable preparation of the boat for long journeys.
Equipped with a PetitJean furling boom, BASBOUSA opts to be dynamic with a mainsail, electric furling genoa, but also Code Zero and Gennaker on hydraulic control. Two autopilots, no less than 2800 W in solar panels, air conditioning, two desalinators, two 3.5 kW converters, and an additional 2 kW converter, as well as a bow thruster for easy maneuvering. In short, a unit designed for optimal comfort over time, reliable, and with a reduced crew!
Since 2022, its current owner has always optimized its general condition; fully operational, the mast and rigging have undergone a complete inspection, and it is being prepared for the 2026 season by a professional shipyard, so that BASBOUSA can be ready for a new chapter!
